A couple of years ago, I went on a walking tour on the Isle of Arran in Scotland. Each day we would take a different hike -- around 6-8 miles. On our first day, . we stopped and ate our lunch and looked at this gorgeous view. During the hikes, I often felt transported in time as we walked along footpaths that showed no sign of it being the 21st century.
