I painted this in stages. At first I poured color onto the very synthetic Yupo paper. I used saran wrap to develop texture and puddles of color. Later I returned to painting it while in a very pensive mood. I thought about my 99-year-old grandmother who was in the hospital. She soon recovered and we look forward to her 100th birthday celebration coming in a couple of months.
Artist Statement: I am inspired to paint when I feel a sense of sway. Sometimes it begins from listening to music, but it will often come from my own thoughts and what I see.
