With the final of my “Big 3” series, I’ve hit a stride. I simplified the still life down to one wine glass, with just the flower’s reflection in the liquid, the “blue sky” cloth on the table, and just a suggestion of plants in the background. The swirls of liquid are my main focus, next to the vibrant colors.
Artist Statement: I am inspired to paint when I feel a sense of sway. Sometimes it begins from listening to music, but it will often come from my own thoughts and what I see.
