Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel played through my ipod in my studio as I painted this smaller piece. With nobody else in the building, I turned it up loudly and was transported back to the later 80s. I love to listen to music and paint. They go hand in hand for me.
Artist Statement: I am inspired to paint when I feel a sense of sway. Sometimes it begins from listening to music, but it will often come from my own thoughts and what I see.
