WOW, GORGEOUS PAINTING, TRINA

Artist's Description

"To keep your process flowing, to feel the enjoyment of creation, you first need to go where it is easy. Easy means ripe. " I've been painting seascapes using oil paint for a long stretch now. But for this painting, I returned to flowers using acrylic. It felt like coming home. Easy. Ready. Ripe. My sister-in-law sent me a beautiful photo of Irises and challenged me to paint it. I zoomed in on one and played with the rhythm in the background. This was a delight to paint all the way through.
