I painted this from a reference photo and altered it to look like my dad sailing in Nantucket. He loves to sail. The boat looks like a "Rainbow" and my uncle used to have one.

Artist Statement: I am inspired to paint when I feel a sense of sway. Sometimes it begins from listening to music, but it will often come from my own thoughts and what I see.
